Geboren 1948 in Wiesbaden. Sein Studium der Mikrobiologie an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität, Mainz in den Jahren 1968-75 beendet er mit dem Abschluss als Diplom-Biologe. Von 1979-85 Studium an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Bildende Künste / Städelschule, Frankfurt/Main bei Johannes Schreiter und Christian Kruck. Seit 1979 Ausstellungen und Ausstellungsbeteiligungen im In- und Ausland. 1982 erste Arbeiten in Glas. Seitdem zahlreiche profane und kirchliche Glaskunst-Projekte, darunter die Fenster der Katholischen Kirche St. Nicolai in Kalkar. Er lebt und arbeitet in Wiesbaden.
